Hoodie Allen is known to go above and beyond to create a memorable night for his fans and he certainly proved that November 3rd in Dallas, Texas on The Hype World Tour.

Joining the hip-hop artist at the House of Blues was Myles Parrish. Despite being an opener, Parrish got a positive crowd reaction.

Hoodie Allen performed next and started his set with a bang by shooting money at the crowd, Hype Tour currency to be exact. As money continually fell into the crowd, Hoodie Allen played songs from his latest album The Hype and even threw it back to albums like Happy Camper and All American.

Hoodie Allen stepped up his performance a notch by throwing cake into the crowd. He even took crowd surfing to a whole new level by floating on a raft.

Just when you thought Hoodie Allen was done with surprises he decided to pull a fan up on stage by randomly calling someone in the crowd. Fans sent out texts to a number that was projected on a screen, hoping to be the winner.

“Eventually I want to stop using social media,” Hoodie Allen said to the crowd. Wanting to do something different than most artists, texting seemed like the most personal way to interact with fans, he said.

Hoodie Allen ended the night with an encore and blasted multiple confetti canons as he said goodnight.
