HAVE MERCY // MAKE THE BEST OF IT // ALBUM REVIEW

Baltimore’s alternative/emo band, Have Mercy, cuts right to the chase in their newest album Make The Best Of It. Gritty, emotional, and heart-tugging, Make The Best Of It is meant for those who are ready to get right down to the core of their feelings.

Eeriness emerges from the beginning of Smoke And Lace and the dark energy is continuous throughout the album, which is mostly recognizable in Brian Swindle’s lyrics.  The raspy voice in Swindle’s matured voice adds an extra drop of sadness to the album.

Make The Best Of It is without a doubt one of Have Mercy’s greatest releases and their emotional, passionate vibe is what makes them stand out against other alternative/emo musicians.
